Fun in the park

The next day it was Becky's birthday so when they got back from work we had a few games of beer pong, a roast dinner, flip cup and ring of fire. Kiwi was so useless at flip cup that the six of us beat him 2/3 times, it was a bit embarrassing! We met some of Kiwi's family as they arrived back from the lake and probably didn't make the best impression as we were all slightly merry. It was a fun evening and I think Becky had a good time.

I turned into a right skype slut in the morning starting at 7:30am and finishing at 1:30pm! It was great catching up with so many people but I had a bit of jaw ache by the end so James and I went to the container mall and then walked around the botanical gardens. We had to get back as Becky was dying my hair and we were off to the park for a few games of Kubb and Fush and Chups. Kiwi had set up the meeting between England and New Zealand. Catherine, Becky and Chekko (the three English girls) were keen to meet some more Kiwi's and we were well up for a game of Kubb. It was a really fun evening and nice to meet some more of Kiwi's friends. Rob, Math, Elle and Cory had arrived in Christchurch that afternoon so they came along with their friend Michael. It got really cold almost as soon as we arrived but the game of Kubb and a spontaneous game of nerf ball kept us warm. The boys got cocky and suggested we played boys vs girls, it was embarrassing; we destroyed them! We had a few beverages and then went back to Kiwi's for some more drinks. We had missed Jenny on skype but were reminded of her with Elle's nerf ball performance with similar heckles as we heard on the family video-PHIL, PHIL!
