The area around The Grampians leave a lot to be desired. Our first day on the Great Ocean Road (GOR) we didn't have the best weather. It was drizzly and although we could make out some of the views it wasn't as beautiful as we had anticipated. Another great tip from Rob was the little gem Wilsons Promantary or 'The Prom'. The Prom is a national park peninsula on the south coast. It has fabulous views across the Bass strait, lovely bush walking and a stunning coast line. We spent two days here enjoying walks around the southern point.
