We wake up late and decide to use up more of our city pass heading to the Aquarium, it's down by the Port literally facing the water.
As far as Aquariums go it's fine, the highlight being the adorable otters and seals - the otters in particular are hilarious apparently, they sleep holding their mate's hands at night so they don't lose each other downstream - how cute is that! We head off to the pier and grab a soda (all American like) and book tickets for a 4.30 cruise with Argosy also using our pass.
We're early so decide to head to Pike Place Market and get some fresh bread for soup later. It's class. This is where they throw fish, loved by locals, you have real fresh produce straight from the farm and sea. The market was the result of ever increasing taxes and locals wanting to buy direct from the source, you must check it out if you go to Seattle, stunning colours with the most beautiful fresh veg and fruit on display not to mention the flagrant chocolates, spices fresh bread. If you're a fish fan you will be in heaven - they have huge monkfish, crabs, and lobster - you name it! We get our French stick and head back for our cruise.
We get great seats on top deck and the views are stunning - it's a 60-minute trip and we see spectacular sights of the space needle, Mount Rainier, Queen Anne Hill (where Frasier's house was) and the big wheel - the famed Seattle skyline is a sight to behold.
We finish up and walk along the waterfront stopping in an Irish bar for a soda and then grab an Uber to the hotel for a quick dinner and change before the gig.
We walk to the Crocodile and get to see 6 bands, choosing two we particularly enjoy to watch for longer they are Megasapien and Jesus Rehab - they are on iTunes, great local original bands - give them a listen and let us know what you think.
Bands finish up around 1am and we're off home, gotta pack up tomorrow and make tracks but we're so pleased with everything we've done so far! Tomorrow we'll be doing the Fountain again, a Space Needle visit to the top and going to the Science Centre all before our bus at 1.45 well let you know how it goes :)
