It's an early start, we haven't managed to sleep and we fly out at 7am arriving at 8.30 New Orleans time. The flight was only 2 hours and it's only a 2-hour time difference, we grab an Uber cab to our motel in Metairie and thankfully she lets us check on early at 10am - after 24 hours of being awake we crash out and get up round 5pm.

Jacq heads to reception to ask about public transport - despite saying they are in an easy commute to the centre on their website - they are not! It's nearly 2 hours and three changes to get to the action and it's less than 10 miles away.

So, we find a find a family run Italian and grab a bite for dinner - Matts gone burger mad again and this one is the biggest yet! We head back and do some planning deciding a car would make most sense so we book one for pick up tomorrow and plan our itinerary for the week.
