The next day we turned off the Gibb river road onto the Kalumburu road. A few kilometres away was a free camp with a river that we swam at then stayed there for the night. The next day we packed up and drove to Drysdale river station. The road up was very corrugated, it was the bumpiest road yet. We arrived in Drysdale and decided that we won't go all the way to King Edward campground because the road is too bumpy. That afternoon after we set up we went for a swim at a river called the miners pool. We walked upstream for an explore. If you go upstream it is very shallow and it is deeper downstream. The next day we went on a 2 hour plane flight over Mitchell falls but we also saw lots of rivers, mountains and waterfalls. After the flight we went to a free camp called Barnet river gorge. We walked into the gorge and me,will and dad walked down the gorge looking at all the waterholes that had little waterfalls from waterhole to waterhole.

Nana You were so lucky going on that flight Jack! It must have been awesome to see that beautiful part of the country from the air.
Nannette Oh wow, Jack that flight would have been the best ever. Can't wait to see the photos if any were taken
