We have spent the last few days in Shark Bay world heritage area, we stayed in Denham . On our first day we went to the dolphin feeding at Monkey Mia. They told us a lot about the dolphins. Will and I got to feed one called Surprise. We weren't allowed to touch them because we might make them sick. We also went to the aquarium. They told us LOTS of information about their animals. They had rays, sharks, lion fish, turtles, stone fish, eels, sea snakes, snapper, cobia and clownfish. It was SO interesting and fun. We also went to Eagle Bluff and walked along the boardwalk along the top of the cliff. We saw some rays, sharks and dolphins. The sharks and dolphins chased a school of fish but stopped because it was too shallow. At night we went squidding off the wharf in Denham. Will and I both caught a big one. We also had a look in the national park. We saw a bearded dragon, a blue tongue, some geckos and a thorny devil. Thorny devils are rare to see in the wild because they are so well camouflaged and we saw one. It was AWESOME!!! We also went in a 40 degree artesian bore. It was like a hot-tub. It was so hot. On our way out of Shark Bay we stop at Shell beach. It was made entirely out of little shells and the water was SO salty!
