Day 8, Lazy Day

Feeling a bit tired today afte yesterdays big one so a relaxing lazy day is in order. The pool was the place to be so headed there after breakfast and that's where the wife and kids stayed for the next 4 hours. Needed to change some money so my mate and I hopped on the motorbike and off we went. The rate had dropped a bit down to 9675rp=$1 aud so changed our money and back to Ketut we went to pick up my mates order. While we were out we decided to check out the next hotel we will be staying at "The Jayakarta Hotel" , wanted to make sure there will be no stuff up with rooms this time. We had a look around , 3 pools and right next to the beach .. Feeling happy that everything will be sweet when we check in there next week.
Heading down Poppies lane to see if I can meet up with an old friend from back in the day but he wasn't there ... We waited a while and went back to the hotel, will catch up with him eventually!
My mate was hanging for a massage so dropped him off and I went to get some Padang food for lunch to take back for the girls.. He was having an hour massage so by the time I went back to drop off lunch it was time to go back and pick him up but he was still having massage .. While I waited I got a head/shoulders and foot massage, was really good.
While having my massage my mate had turned up at my hotel but obviously I wasn't there .... Next time haha.
The girls have had a lovely day relaxing by the pool with the kids and we hung in the cool air conditioned room till dinner time. Stakz bar and grill is where we went for dinner (Aussie owned and my mate knows one of them but he wasn't in Bali atm) . Dinner was real nice , great atmosphere although the music was a bit loud. I had a pork chop with mash and it was delicious , wife had an amazing crispy Tempe and Beetroot salad and kids had grilled chicken n chips. Mate and his family had grilled prawns , steak ( which was really good they said ) and snitzel and veg , everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals ! We have been pretty good here not drinking much so we decided we would have a few drinks tonight and that we did, lots of laughing , drinking , music and good times on our veranda tonight . Uno cards made an appearance too ( always good fun) , finished up about 12:30am as we had a complaint form room next door that we were too noisy (oops) so then off to bed it was. Great day all in all.
