As they say, all good things have to come to an end.
So after spending the last few weeks in Perth, we got the news that as expected, the owners of the house we were minding still intended to return home and we would have to leave! Although we had spent so much time in the caravan on the road getting to Perth, it felt funny getting back in the van again and continuing our journey south.
With that in mind, we only made it around 100 odd kms before we decided to stop, with Mandurah being our new home for the next few days.
What can I say about Mandurah? It is a town which has 2 sides, an old 'tired' side, and a new millionaires side.
Happenings of note in Mandurah
- Man that snail is fast. Yep, you guessed it (you with kids anyway), we delivered on a promise to Hunter to check out the movie 'Turbo'. Although not a bad movie, it did have us wondering when we were the only ones in the cinema as the movie started?
- Drove and walked around the marina picking and 'bagsing' our dream houses and boats. It was a hard task, as no sooner than you picked your favourite, you passed another and had to swap. Ahhhh, to be rich!
And.....that's about it, other than trying to get back into the swing of things being back in the caravan, and with those soft whispers in Bec's ears getting louder, we decided to make our way further south, with Margaret River being our next destination.
