Today is our last day in Ko Samui and is also Thai new year (songkran). This basically means that they all go crazy throwing water all over everyone in their path. They also use massive water blasters and throw some sort of powder all over everyone too. Everyone is out on the street, chucking water or riding around motorbikes or in utes joining in the fun. We rode down to Fishermans village for lunch today. Very nice food overlooking the water. Spent the rest of the day exploring the top of the island, just cruising around. Got back about 8 pm, then went for dinner at our favorite seafood restaurant again.

We spent the afternoon in Chaweng today to have a wander around the shops there. The place is crazy though, so busy and very hot as there is no breeze away from the beach. Too many tourists for me. Later had a drink down on the beach and then a massage just before dark, they were very good. Had dinner at Andaman restaurant, all you can eat place. Today we went back to our favourite beach here on Koh Samui, Lipanoi. We found this beach when we were here a few years ago and still love it. It is a very clear white sandy beach, but unfortunately is becoming a bit more commercialised now with a few more resorts than there was a few years ago.
