Hello Koh Phangan!!! After a whole month at Viva we left yesterday morning for Koh Phangan. Kris took us to the pier for our ferry at about 10.30 am. We have had a wonderful time at Viva, it was so relaxing and exactly what we had planned. But time now to move on to the next place! Rain, rain! And then off shopping in Lamai! Yesterday was the worst day we have had here so far. Very, very windy and lots of rain. Not much of a day to do anything. Not cold of course but not a beach day either because of the wind, whipping up the sand into your face!! We said goodbye to Ron and Nicky today who left for Germany. They have been here for over 3 weeks. They come here twice a year, usually for a month each time. Will be back again next February...

It's raining... So we go shopping!!!! The weather turned yesterday. Started off quite warm and muggy but cloudy. We went for a bike ride and luckily got back just before the first downpour. Our New Beach Friend!! A couple of days ago while we were walking along the beach this friendly little dog suddenly joined us! She walked all the way back with us...if we stopped she did too and waited for us. Then just before our resort she was accosted by the local dogs who did not want her to go past. So she retreated into the water, the other dogs didn't want to get their feet wet...and dog paddled the rest of the way! She followed us back to our room but ...
