We arrived in London to miserable weather, but relatively warmer than our recent locations. We were grateful to be able to stay with Andrew and some of his housemates, which took out a lot of the stress of a trip to London.

After settling in we went exploring around Westminster and the London Eye. It felt more as if we were ticking items off a list than actually really wanting to see them, but we enjoyed it regardless.

The next day we explored Petticoat Lane and Brick Lane, which are both famous for their markets. After that we looked around Hyde Park and visited Buckingham Palace and walked to Harrod's, which was overwhelmingly large and busy.

We intended to leave early the next morning but missed our flight (through no fault of our own). Having to wait until 5 in the afternoon, we spent a thrilling day in Luton airport.
