Just briefly checking in from Venice. Weather may have finally caught up with us - a lot of rain when we arrived. Lucky to have a few restaurants nearby so we didn't have to venture far. The potential impending doom of our exam results is enough to motivate us to get out and about to explore. Our hotel is nice (Locanda Gaffarro), but the owner is not very friendly. Language may be a factor but. Will check in again soon!

So! After a few very relaxing days in Florence, we moved on to Pisa for a day trip. We had planned to go early, however a body was apparently found on the tracks for that line, so we were delayed a few hours. We went skiing/snowboarding yesterday! We went up Stubaier Gletscher, which is 2600m high! Very tiring, but definitely worth it. Photos to come. Today we travelled from chilly Innsbruck to Florence, with a brief stop in Bologna. The Eurail pass was probably the best decision we made in planning for this trip.
