We drove back up to Queenstown and arrived in the late afternoon after a really gusty trip where we thought we were going to be blown off the road. We were really impressed with the views of the city next to the river with amazing mountains as a backdrop. We put Delia into a campground and walked into town, it turned out to be glorious weather and we strolled to the waterfront and into a pub. We got a well earned beer and sat outside and chilled and talked and watched the world go by... its was soooooo nice. Later we went back and cooked spagetti Bolognaise then watched a horror movie with some of the other campers....bit scary to sleep in the van after that! Claire went off to call Thomi as it was her birthday. Next morning we put Delia into a garage we'd found the previous day and headed into town to spend the day internetting and pottering.
