We went to Pacific harbour for our diving and accomodation special deal. We got there and were greeted by a very dodgy pervy ozzy bloke. The place was small but the room was great, we had our own kitchen. We asked about the dive company and guess what it was the one that had had complaints in the lonely planet...oops. We decided to go and check them out but they didnt seem to be able to tell us anything. We cooked a really nice curry which we bought from the local shops and chilled, slightly worried about the diving. We went to do the diving at Beqa Lagoon(pronounced Benga), the guys seemed ok, equipmant was shabby but worked ok, got on the boat with a few others, 2 welsh women, a german couple, an isreali couple(odd!) and an english guy. The diving spots were amazing, beautiful soft corals, swimthroughs and lovely fish. We freaked a bit when we wrote up our Padi stuff and realised we'd gone off the chart, decided we would be more picky next time. That night we bought a huge sea bass(although mainly head!) and cooked it in coconut cream, it was really nice.
