Horvats USA 2017
Washing day today - it's amazing how many dirty clothes you can create in four days. Marcus's brother and family arrived in Noosa today for their holiday, so they came straight from the airport to check out our digs before checking in to their own accomodation. National park walk was well received by all, including sightings of dolphins, whales and a turtle (and the ever present busĺh turkeys). A spot of fishing this afternoon where we seemed to feed the entire marine population of the Noosa River with no result. For dinner we met up with the "other" Horvat family and went to Noosa Boathouse for dinner. The venue was beautiful, sitting at the end of a jetty on the river. Staff were excellent, food was beautiful, will definitely go on the "to do again" list. We had a "feast" banquet which included haloumi, prawns, barramundi, tea-smoked salmon, beef cheek, and coconut and kaffir lime creme brulee. And I don't even like seafood! If you're ever in Noosa, look this place up.
