Everyone enjoyed a good sleep in and a relatively unplanned day today. Big fry up provided by Corey & Justine and then a short rainforest walk. Apparently the area around here used to be market gardens and the information board told us to look out for banana trees in the forest that were remnants of the site's history... unfortunately not a banana to be seen. After that Marcus went for a drive on the beach whilst I read and the kids made paper planes. The wind kicked up and the temperature dropped after lunch so all seven of us holed up in our tent - a serious game of Cheat ensued and "some" wine was consumed. The wind kept us "indoors" for a couple of hours and as it seemed we were all at risk of starving (apparently) we cooked some popcorn old-school style of the stove and that kept everyone happy. When the wond settled we went for a walk to the beach where fhe kids played chicken with the waves. Home for red curry...last night of "real" holiday as the next two days are driving days to get home by Sunday afternoon.
