Early 6am start, packed and on the road by 8am for the 8ish hour drive to the Myall Lakes National Park, just outside Bulledelah in NSW. International Year of Roadworks made much of the Pacific Hwy drive very frustrating, but by gees the trip will be great once the freeway upgrade is completed. You have to catch a two-minute ferry to get to this part of the park...kids were so busy watching a movie they almost missed it. Quite a bit of rain as we arrived, but it very cooperatively stopped as we started setting up and stayed away to give us a beautiful rainbow and sunset. A sleep in and sime 4WDing is on ths cards for tomorrow.
