Day 10:
We woke up at 5am plus and set off for Cape Town International Airport at 6am plus. We spent quite some time, going through the procedure of returning the rented cars. After packing the breakfast, we boarded the plane at about 8am plus. I spent the whole journey sleeping. Very tired from the consecutive early mornings.
We arrived back in Johannesburg at about 1020am. At the airport, we shopped for gifts for Ps Henry's kids and thank God, we managed to get them the gifts which they liked (They looked happy when we handed them the gifts in the evening).
On our way back from the airport to Ps Henry's place, we stopped at Norwood mall to buy him and sister Lerato a gift, which was a blender. They had one at home but was spoilt and so, we got them a replacement which was what they needed.
Upon arrival at Ps Henry's place, we rested awhile and did online check-in for our flights next Monday. Some of us then went for lunch at the nearby Nando's at about 2pm.
After lunch, we spent some time to pray for and minister to a couple in their core team - Thomas and Mary. It was encouraging to hear that they were ministered by what the Lord had revealed. Personally, I was so touched by their perseverance in serving the Lord. According to what they shared with us, one of the greatest challenges in disciple-making is that people don't respond well to their follow-up. Either they reject their calls or give various excuses for not coming to church. Even though it was tough, it gladdens my heart to see that they still continue to render great support to Ps Henry. Indeed, they are wonderful examples of armourbearers.
And, we also prepared a song "Because of You" for the service tomorrow. Initially, we had wanted to translate part of the song to Zulu language, but it seemed that it was a little difficult, due to the complexity of fitting the words of the Zulu language to the rhythm of the song. So, in the end, we decided to just present the song in the English language.
We went out for dinner with Ps Henry at Hokkaido restaurant at around 7pm plus. The food was nice and we enjoyed listening to Ps Henry shared about the life of the church and the work of the Lord in the church. We ended dinner at about 9pm plus.
I turned in around 10pm plus, really exhausted from the long day.
