Day 2:
We woke up at about 630am in the morning. We had our simple breakfast as a group and then proceeded to have devotion.
It was a fruitful 3 hours of sharing and discovering about ourselves. Michael shared from 1 Cor 12 and then we shared with one another about our giftings and the experiences which we have had in our respective journey with the Lord. It was vibrant and certainly encouraging to hear the many stories and encounters. It was indeed godly fellowship where we just spurred one another on with the testimonies of what the Lord had done in our lives.
After the sharing, Denise and I spent some time, choosing songs for tomorrow's praise and worship.
Lunch was a niggardly affair of fried rice (cooked from yesterday's unfinished rice). But it was delicious.
After lunch, the whole group of us went to Norwood mall to get some of the necessities for tonight's dinner. We rushed back within an hour's time as Lerato needed the car to fetch her child home. And the rest of the afternoon was spent chatting and idling. We didn't do much and I just made use of this time to update this blog entry.
We had dinner with Ps Henry, Lerato and the rest of the core team of Hope Johannesburg. After dinner, it was finalization of tomorrow's program. And we ended the night with a time of worship unto the Lord. Many hearts were filled with great expectation of what the Lord will do in tomorrow's seminar. We interceded, and really prayed that many lives would be impacted from tomorrow's seminar. Even after worship, words of prophecy came and we were just so honored that the Lord had sent us here to play a part in strengthening His church. Well, tonight was only the tip of the iceberg. We shall await the icing on the cake tomorrow.
