After our exciting day at the zoo...
We had a great family beach day! The weather is perfect! The entire Hoffmeister Family went surfing. We wore wetsuits at first, then it really warmed up and didn't even need our "wetties"! The water is so clear and beautiful! It was a nice relaxing day!
If you look at our latest photo album, I posted some pictures of all the crazy chips they have here! The Aussies thought we were crazy taking photos of the chips at the grocery store! Sabrina had to try Chicken Chips...she loves them....yuck! If you prefer there are, ham, bacon, ribs...????
After our great day on the beach, Mike and I have been taking turns running on the beach...It is amazing! Words can't describe the beautiful peaceful beach with no one around! The weather makes it so easy and Mike has loved watching the moon come up (it is a full moon, now).
At night we have been playing Yahtzee, and trying new snacks! The grocery store can be great fun, and we search for new things!
Today, we were on the road again moving up the coast. We have had some fun trying to find our way around, it seems there is a roundabout every few Kilometers and street signs must not be necessary here! So we saved our marriage and got our new friend Mr. Navman! If anyone has a trip Down Under we have a necessary tool for your trip MIke has named the Navman "Cheryl", it tells him where to turn and to slow down too!
We are in Hervey Bay tonight, we plan to look around and relax tomorrow, we will start again on our journey North through Queensland soon.

Jeannie Chicken chips, my favorite line, you'll love it I swear it taste like chicken : ) All is well on the Southern home front, had a great visit with Will, he spent Sunday at my house : ) I had a hard time sleeping the night before knowing he was coming for the day!! I can't wait to see all the pictures you guys took there, I'm sure your not posting all of them. Love you!! J the chicken chips taste like chicken??? lol
Jenny Liked all the chip pictures, but we need more action shots of Uncle Mike. Trevor named my On-Star navigation lady Margaret. She does come in handy. Mike is too full on doughnuts for action shots!
Nanny The beach is beautiful there. The waves looked bigger. I will pass on the chips!! Connor sends his love, he is being such a good boy. We miss you, but it sure is great seeing Austrailia through your eyes. Love and kisses.

UB Looking at the cost of the donuts (Australian dollars) you will run out of money in a week; I am sure Mike is not gaining any weight! Maybe your new Navmachine "Cheryl" can double up as a gps for the helicopters. Did not see any vegimate shots nor veg. oriented chips! That is totally biased if you ask me Have fun Those donuts were cheap for here! They usually cost $9 for 3 donuts! we are out of money!!!!
