Arrived at Surfer's Paradise in the afternoon. I didn't realise that Surfer's Paradise was the name of a city on the Gold Coast. I just thought it was somewhere surfer's go. Haha!! The way to describe this place is 'Miami'. I find with a lot of places in Australia they are look like somewhere else in the world. So here is definately Miami. All the houses are on water and have driveways straight into the water for their boats. There are also lots of high rise buildings, bowling alleys, kareoke bars, Hard Rock cafe...very American. Very different to anywhere else so far in Australia, but still pretty cool. We stayed in a 4* hotel called Vibe for two nights. The first night was dinner in the Surf members club.

The next day, I just had a chilled one and took advantage of the amazing hotel pool with a few others from the group. Oh and we took our tour guide Deano clothes shopping, bless him, he doesn't have a clue about fashion. Tonight's entertainment was bowling, pizza and Kareoke!! Classic!!
