We are in a small village in Thailand called Ton Sai. It would be without a doubt, the most beatiful place i have ever been. We caught a bus for a few hours yesterday from Yat Hai to Krabi, and then from there had to catch a taxi and long boat to the beach of Ton Sai. Ton Sai, is remote, there is no power to it. What little power there is in the town is supplied by local generators. It isn't an island, but it is surrounded on all sides by cliffs (which Guy has climbed in the past), which prevent anything from getting in or out by land. You need to go in and out by long boat from neighbouring beaches. There is about 40 shops here, over half of which would be little bars. There would be about 400 tourists in this town, all below the age of 30 i think. It is fantastic, i think we will be here for a few days to come. This is definitely what we have been looking for!! Sorry about the photos missing from the gallery. The photos i have, are too big to upload to the web. Please be patient though, i will put them up when i can. The web isn't quick enough here to do it. We just bought a couple of hundred dollars worth of quicksilver and billabong clothing, for about $25. We are just about to hire a kayak for half a day to go and explore some of the hundreds of islands that are dotted around the place. Will post an update in a few days (with photos hopefully).
