Since our last blog Kerry and I caught a bus from Barcelona to Madrid which took most of a day. Kerry and I are in London, we just flew in today from Rome. Last week we finished our jobs and packed up our room in Durham and flew to Rome on Saturday. We spent Sunday exploring the colleseum (and surrounding ruins), the center of Rome, the Vatican and basicly walked until we dropped. We loved it. This weekend was spent in Norway. Friday morning we flew from Newcastle to a city called Bergen, just a 70 minute flight, both having taken the day off work. Upon arrival in Bergen it was pouring down. Apparently it rains in Bergen 260 days of the year. A 20 minute bus ride into Bergen city and we were wandering around under our rain jackets and umbrella.
