"Messing about on the river"
Our time in Australia is fast coming to an end and there us still so much to do. We will never fit it all in but will be pleased to have something to come back to again one day.
The pace slowed down today as we boarded our Captain Cook River Boat in the port of Freemantle and sat back for a lazy 2 hour cruise up the Swan River to Perth for lunch and then the 2 hours back again. There are more boats per head of population in Perth than anywhere else in Australia so there was plenty to see. Where there are boats there is money and we certainly saw evidence of that today with most riverside properties being worth at least a million dollars. Some particularly grand ones are worth much more. One we were told as we passed by was built from scratch by a mining heiress for about 57 million dollars. After 18 months she got bored of it so it went back on the market to be bought by another mining fat cat. It takes all sorts I suppose.
As we sailed past Claremont we had good views of Bunty's apartment and got some great photos. In fact we have both gone a bit mad with the cameras today so will have to do some serious weeding out later.
Only 2 days left and we leave for Singapore!

Jacky Not sure you have received anything from me at all!! Still, I am enjoying following you around - you both look so well and relaxed - in fact, pretty Ozzy laid back! Have just spent a weekend with loads of Brisbane Ozzies - they all seem to have a different agenda to us Brits! Not sure you will receive this - but I am looking forward to you returning to us! Love from us both, Jacky
