The flight to Perth passed without incident so we were not called upon to jump first through the emergency exit in our care.
Mark was there to meet us and take us via the supermarket to his parents apartment (unit) in Claremont our home for the next few days. How delighted we were to find ourselves right on the Swan River with the most fantastic views from the large picture windows. Just perfect.
After over 3 weeks of eating out what a joy to have just a bit of cooked chicken with some salad and new potatoes followed by fresh fruit. Good to to have a Saturday night in watching Colingwood (Melbourne) narrowly beat The Eagles (Perth) at Aussie Rules Football. It's beginning to make a bit more sense now. The players wore black armbands as one of the Colingwood team fell to his death last week from a hotel roof in Las Vegas under somewhat suspicious circumstances.
We then had the best nights sleep in ages in Bunty's lovely comfortable bed. It's the simple things that bring so much pleasure!
