Sorry haven't updated my blogs for a few days everyone, but I have been a very busy bee!
Well Monday I went to the Neighbours tour in the afternoon where we went to Ramsey Street and Erinsborough High. It turned out that three girls from my room was doing the day and night tour, so we went together. It was very strange, as it is a real school and all they do is hang a sign over the fence to make it into Erinsborough High. For Ramsey Street it isn't actually called this and they just do all the outside filming here. People live in the street and there are certain rules that they have to follow in order for Neighbours to be filmed. After having a good look around we went onto meet one of the Neighbours stars! It turned out to be Michelle Scully (the youngest daughter of the Scully's) We all had our picture taken with her and then us girls decided to walk back to the hostel, so we could get ready for the night.
The girls bought some wine and we had some of this whilst we was getting ready and got a bit snap happy with our cameras! When we got to the bar that the Neighbours night was being held in we managed to get a table that was right at the front! There was music first of all and then they held a trivia quiz. We thought that it would be about neighbours, but unfortunately it wasn't, it was about general knowledge. Oh dear, I thought, my general knowledge absolutely sucks! We all attempted to answer the questions, but in the end they were so hard that we gave up and turned to our wine instead! lol. After a few drinks we decided to have a boogy and then it got to the exciting part, Dr Karl Kennedy was about to come on, and the other neighbours' stars also. It was great fun, the audience had all wrote some questions down that they wanted to be answered and the man that was presenting it, asked each of the actors in turn and some of them were very funny. The actors then went around the room to talk to people, sign autographs and have their pictures taken. I love my pic with the Doctor! lol
This went on for a while and then it was time for the Doctor to sing in his band. This was great and it was just like watching your Dad up on stage! lol. He is actually quite a good singer. Time was getting on and was a bit concerned, as I had to get up very early the next morning to catch my bus to Sydney! We didn't end up getting home until about half one and I had a few too many glasses of wine. Luckily I had already got my back packed, so I literally just had to get up in the morning have a wash and get myself on the bus. I will update soon to let you know how it went.
