Day 10

Woke up early as the miners got ready for work. On the road by 8.30am for the last leg of our journey.

After an hour we stopped at 80 Mile Beach, its a fishing beach and suprisingly is 80 miles long! We arrived in Broome around 3.30pm. It was a quick tour of the town and then we got dropped off at our hostel. We are staying in Cable Beach in a backpackers. cable beach is like a holiday resort. The hostel has a chilled out relaxed atmosphere - a very happy feel with hammocks everywhere. Its great as a few of us from the tour are staying there so we all hang out together.

We all went out to the Divers' Tavern for a bite to eat and some drinks to round off the trip - "We are the s***!"

Now we are enjoying a week of Broome Time, relaxing in the sun at Cable Beach everyday, chilling with everyone frm the trip. Most people leave on Friday so those of us that are left are going to the races on Saturday. We fly to Darwin on Monday for a week there, before we head to Bangkok on June 30th.
