Hay and Drews RTW Trip
We drove out from Flagstaff to Sedona through stunning scenery. We visited Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot homes of the Sinagua. The homes built into the cliff side were really impressive. We then headed to the Meteor Crater. I was not sure what to expect but it was surprisingly fascinating. 330,000 tonnes of iron hitting the earth at 26,000 miles per hour 50,000 years ago! The crater is well preserved and I really enjoyed our visit. We then drove on to stay at a small route 66 town Holbrook. We have just had a good dinner at Tom and Suzie's Diner. So far Diner means good value, good quality and good fun.
