Rushed breakfast in the Market in order to catch the 8.00 surf truck, but alas the time had been changed to later. Found another shuttle heading to playa el remanso which meant we could be back in time for Spanish lessons. Given we were no longer beginners (this our 2nd day!) we ditched the beginners boards (which had given us rashes and blistered my hands) for slightly smaller slicker versions. Breakfast in a comedor on the high street, booked bus to costa rica, did our Spanish homework, went for a dip in the sea, and picked up our machine-washed clothes (a real treat!). Awoke to 2 lime green tropical birds chirping away on our balcony, who then took up pirch on the electricity cables, posing for a photo shoot.
