So this is rainy season. Got absolutely soaked.... twice. Firstly when leaving Panama City - the heavens opened and rivers flowed down the streets (and in to my shoes) as I attempted to flag a taxi. Amy got away with a mild drenching. After a change of footwear prior to our flight to Columbia things were looking somewhat drier until our taxi from Bogata airport turned toward town and possibly the darkest black sky ever seen - it was midday but basically dark. Even the 2m dart from the taxi to the hostel door made us look like drowned rats. After we watched a film the downpour relented long enough to go grocery shopping. Cooked homemade burgers before a spot of Spanish style scrabble, all the while trying to stay warm. Bogata is apparently freezing.
