Headed up Cerro de Monserrate on the funicular train for brilliant views of Bogota, which seems to sprawl on forever, including up all the surrounding mountains. Negotiated the streets of Bogota, and 2 local buses to get to Zipaquira, a pretty town 50km north of Bogota. Took in the plaza and the lovely cathedral (largely brick and wood inside and different to any seen so far on our travels), before going to the Catedral De Sal. So this is rainy season. Got absolutely soaked.... twice. Firstly when leaving Panama City - the heavens opened and rivers flowed down the streets (and in to my shoes) as I attempted to flag a taxi. Amy got away with a mild drenching.
