Saturday 25th April

After being kicked out of the campsite we headed to surfers paradise on the gold coast via Nimbin, a local crazy hippy town. After having a rather weird experience in nimbin for lunch of a town full of stoned hippies, we continued up the east coast to surfers paradise. We managed to get there in time to have a little bit of time on the beach, we then showered naked in the public shower as we were sleeping in a random place, which was pretty amusing. After finding a nice little spot for the night by a park, we headed out for a curry. All i can say and i m sure everyone else agreed is that is was GOOD!

Sunday 26th April

We chilled on the beach all day, played touch and pissed around in the sea. Was a pretty chilled day really. We headed to a campsite for the night to fill up on water and power and in the end we ended up going to see the new fast and the furious at the cinema which was nice and chilled.

Monday 27th April

Again we had another day of just chilling on the beach. There was a slight issue this time though, we had lost our old friend Gilbert the rugby ball (RIP) so we had to play touch with an aussie rules ball which made is slightly interesting. Slater didnt play well as he was so distraught after loosing his old friend. Anyways we ended up chilling by the park again for the evening, and had another night in! Not sure what was wrong with us but who knows a few days off the beers is probably a good thing.

Tuesday 28th April

Me, gareth, slates, charlie and paynel headed off to do a surf course for the afternoon. We all had an awesome time and are now all pro surfers. Kings rugby players are like that though! But now i love surfing and wish the weather had been better in byron bay so that i could have done a longer course. After surfing we headed to the liquor store and stocked up on booze to make up for the past few nights. Guy managed to get the van roof wedged in a car park that was obviously too low for our van, his height awarness isnt that great! haha!! We managed to fill huckleberry right up! (40 litres) We did finish it all but knowone made it out and we just hit the hay in our vans next to the park again.

Wednesday 29th April

We drove slater to the airport so that he could pop down to sydney for two days to see aurora and then headed up to brisbane. We then headed to a campsite and chilled out, played a bit of tennis and had a swim.

Thursday 30th April

We headed off in our 4 van convoy to wet 'n'wild, the local massive waterpark. We had an awesome day there, playing around like 10 year olds but it was a good laugh. We then headed off to a different campsite, had some supper and got ready to hit the town. We met up with some old friends from NZ, Joey and Alessandro and had an evening out with them at a club called victory. We had an awesome night, went back to the campsite and made way to much noise and got thrown out, AGAIN!! haha, its actually pretty funny now.
