We arrived in Brisbane at about 7pm, we were staying at a place called Tin Billy's which was quite nice. After putting our bags in our room we went down and had some dinner and a few drinks then went to bed.

We got up and went for a wander around the city as we were leaving tommorrow we wanted to see as much as possible. It was quite easy beacause although Brisbane is a city, it is not that big. It was really funny because there was a big Christmas tree in the square, it didn't look right though as when you looked up there were clear blue skies very strange!!

I liked Brisbane but it is a city and it didn't really have anything different to other cities, oh apart from the lagoon. By the river there is a huge lagoon swimming pool which is a bit strange in the middle of a city.

Had a bit of a stressful evening trying to find accomodation in Sydney from the 27th Dec -2nd Jan but found something in the end which is such a relief because we have been looking for ages. We had a flat booked as we are in Sydney form the 1st December but it all fell through. We managed to find another one but only untill the 27th Dec so were a bit worried about what we were going to do from there but at last it is all sorted.
