Wellington is my favourite city in New Zealand for sure, and the only place I think I could consider living, although the wind would be abit of a battle that I don't think my hair could handle. They are not joking when they say it's the windy capital!!Wellington is just beautiful, and has such a fabulous vibe. The main attraction is Te Papa, the national museum, which is free, and takes three days to complete everything inside! Its really lovely, and has some really great info about the Maori history, and lots of fun things to do and see, including a gorgeous art gallery.Wellington is also abit funky, and has great shopping and nightlife, and just generally a really great vibe.I'm a big fan, and stayed there for four days when I came back through to the north. From Wellington, we travelled to the port to make our journey to the south island.Everyone says the south is much better then the north, so seeing I've had an amazing time in the north, I'm pretty happy about this.Just travelling into the north is spectacular - there is nothing but green hills and mountains as far as you can see, and it just keeps getting better. Our first stop in the south was the Bouldevines Vineyard for some wine tasting.A little note to all you wine lovers, is that a 2008Sav Blanc from the Marlborough region in New Zealand will be a good buy, due to the perfect weather they have been having!
