Coming towards the end of our trip up the East Coast, we made it to Cairns (3860km's). We stayed there for one night, and then headed straight to Cape Tribulation (3982km's). If you drive about 10 minutes north of Cairns, then suddenly the views just become outstanding. Next we travelled to the beautiful Town of Seventeen Seventy and stayed in Agnes Water in a stunning caravan park. Finally got to shower and wash clothes which was pretty amazing, however we got completely eaten to pieces my tiny flies! We actually had to back-track a little on our trip, as we had a canoeing trip down in the Noosa Everglades, but had trouble ensuring the dates. After Rainbow Beach we travelled down to Noosa National Park with Danny and Vikki and spent the day just wandering around the stunning beaches. Its now up to the 21st of Jan, and we are 1625km up the East Coast to Rainbow Beach, where we have to arrive by 5pm to have our briefing for Fraser Island. We met up with Polly and Lindsay again, and met a fab couple, Danny and Vikki (we met by comparing vans - they had one of the 'Wicked' vans and its painted black and red with pictures of Alice Cooper on the side and 'Welcome to my Nightmare' written on the back!
