Krabi, around 30km east of Koh Phi Phi. We stopped in Krabi Town, which is where alot of the markets are & home to most of the locals. Krabi was a very quiet town & the people were very friendly. We spent our first day in Krabi town, recovering from our travels in Phi Phi. The next day we went to Ao Nang Beach, which was a 45 min 'pick up truck' ride from Krabi Town. Here we are, at last on our first island...... Koh Tao and what an island. We got here after the worst 24 hours of travelling ever!!!! First we started from Bangkok at 4.30pm, got on a bus for 14 hours & arrived in some shanti town in the south of Thailand. We were then told that the boats were refusing to take us to Koh Tao as the sea\'s were too rough!!! Anyway, we had to wait two & half hours to then be taken on the \'Worlds Most Scariest Boat Trip...
