Krabi, around 30km east of Koh Phi Phi. We stopped in Krabi Town, which is where alot of the markets are & home to most of the locals. Krabi was a very quiet town & the people were very friendly. We spent our first day in Krabi town, recovering from our travels in Phi Phi. The next day we went to Ao Nang Beach, which was a 45 min 'pick up truck' ride from Krabi Town. We arrived there & the beach was very nice, but I think we were still comparing things to Koh Phi Phi!!!!! We caught some rays on the beach, had a 'few' swims in the sea as the weather is now officially 'BOILING'!!!!!! Then we made for a nearby Irish pub & had a pie & a few pints, well Hannah had wine..... I know, pie & wine, what's that all about!?!?!?!? The following day we went to Railey Beach which was pretty cool. It is a smallish beach in the shape of a cove, but the good thing about it is you can only access the beach by boat from Ao Nang Beach, so it was nice & quiet. Before we knew it, it was our last night in Thailand before our early morning trip tomorrow over to Malaysia & that meant our last chance to have Thai curry!!!!! So, as you guessed, Hannah had green Thai curry & I had red Thai curry and then we both cried our goodbyes to Thailand................ xxx
