Well.... just at the airport waiting for a connecting flight to Bangkok so thought I would take advantage of the free internet and update you about Hong Kong. In all we spent just over a week in Hong Kong. When we arrived it was like putting two kids into the worlds biggest toy store. Everyone spoke English, the men wore suits and had funky haircuts, the women wore make-up and heels and there were loads of bars- hooray!! It was like moving to another world compared to our time in China- it was more like being back home. We managed to have the most amazing meals and take full advantage of all the booze on offer. We also took in a few sites, although there wasnt that much to do for the full week. We went to Happy Valley Racecourse, which was amazing. Grant- you would have loved it. Also you may have been able to help us with the betting because we lost every bloody race!! We also went to Ocean Park, which had the worlds largest atoll reef aquarium, and some rides. We also decided to go and see the worlds largest outdoor, bronze seated budda. Fun! Actually it was ok....maybe staying in the pub would have been more fun tho. So... off we go to Thailand. Hooray- curry's and English football (for Dan). xx
