Bar Harbour is the jewel in Maine's crown and its oldest summer resort. Whilst the coastal views and spruce forests are impressive Arcadia National Park draws enourmous crowds, especially in July and August. Despite the gorgeous scenery just outside town there are lots of distractions in Bar Harbour. Change of state again and now we move into Maine. Seaside villages backed by thick pine forests line the dramatic coastline.
