A good night's sleep back in our bed – wake up to the girls as per usual, joining us in bed, until it all gets a bit hectic with overexcitement – it’s a new day! Tenille did some school work and we pottered around. Sach went off for a ride on his bike up the coast towards Exmouth or rather as far as a station in Cape Range NP. We will head up there after another day here with all the grey nomads. Like a family of people who come live up here for 3 months or so every year – go fishing and keep themselves self-sustained by solar panels and wind turbines until they go home again to the warmer weather in Perth mostly I think. Girls played and we got ready to go to beach, then Jaz piked it and Sach got back in between Tenilles begs for beachgoing. Jaz woke and Sach and Tenille came back from the beach – not too great down here so we went for a ride to another beach we’d been told about – only to get stuck in the sand on the beach at The Lagoon – oh dear. Right next to the tide coming in too – oops! The wheels dug in as far as the chassis, we dug a hole to bury the wheel to pull it out – didn’t work at 1st – we dug deeper, put coral under the tyres to get grip and Sach tried a bit of the coral down on the waters edge to pull it out with the winch before trying the tyre in the hole again – all the while the girls played quite happily in the water. I really thought we weren’t going to get out and then once we were out – where too then - we were just seemingly stuck out in this very soft sand. SAch got us out though and eventually just before the sun was going down we were once again riding home – thank goodness. Dinner and Sach listened to the Pies win the footie & now we’re off to bed – wow its 9:30pm – very early – maybe tomorrow we’ll see some cool coral and fish in Coral Bay(?)
