Today we decided to explore the south part of the strip so set off in the morning and walked to the MGM Grand first. They have a lion enclosure there but because the hotel is having a renovation they weren't there. Ian of course had to say to a member of staff "they're not dead are they?"! We also had a starbucks in here where Nic got excited because they put your name on the cup.

Next we caught the tram to Mandalay bay hotel which has its own aquarium and went and had a look. It was really good because they had loads of sharks. On the way back we stopped at New York hotel and had a slice of pizza in their fake indoor city street.

We bought some tickets for a show at Caesars Palace so both got dressed up for it. Ian actually wore trousers and shoes instead of shorts for the first time this trip! He had a bead on walking to the theatre but luckily it had air con!

The show was called Absinthe and was amazing. It was loads of different acts with gymnasts and acrobatics and a really funny compare. We both loved it. We also went for a drink in Caesars Palace but for 2 drinks it cost $23 which nearly gave Ian a heart attack. I think we will be stocking up on beer at the 7 11 again tomorrow....
