Particularly busy time in the garden taking advantage of the really very good weather.

Sitting room now an office and Ian and I on g'parent duty plus gardening etc. very busy making Christmas presents for everyone and attempting- largely unsuccessfully to prepare and paint the gate posts. Ian thought he'd done it only to find the rain washed the whole lot off!!

Another day of birthday activities until half the party departed for school tomorrow. Very annoying that half terms do not coincide.
