Another lovely day weather wize Spent the morning working on Js Roman costume whilst Ian took D to rugby practice where he scored 7 tries. After lunch we set off for Seaton Delavey which is a NT property which is still being restored. Well worth a visit. The children enjoyed dressing up there.

Dropped J at dancing and then she was going to Oliver with Granny. Meanwhile we took D up to Beadnell to do some checking and gardening etc. the weather was amazing. Sunny and warm and the beach looked simply wonderful. Found the new back door had been beautifully fitted and the garden looked lovely. Unfortunately it appeared someone had been swinging on the gate and pulled the whole post complete with hinges and gate, out of the wall. Ian needed to be very skilf...

Up to Ponteland to look after the children whilst A and C have well earned break with S and J in Krakow. Took them to the airport after lunch then picked the children up from school. Children no trouble at all and we had a lovely evening.

Good journey home after a lovely w/e. stopped at the service station where 3 sandwiches 2 packets of crisps and a chocolate bar were £15!!

Lovely day with all the family. Went into Chard for the first time which I found very interesting and did quite a bit of shopping. Cooked a poached Damon for supper. Weather lovely. J and W in fine fettle.
