Weather pretty good and lovely Easter atmosphere. Egg hunts walks and decorations. Countryside looks beautiful.

Much better weather than promised. Everyone went shopping buying copious holiday clothing. The good weather must be setting people thinking of summer. Lots of children at the house so plenty of fun and noise!! We're delighted to find E and Z had found a large red deer antler in the field. J and D decided they had found the other one!!

The party continues with lunch for 24 at the Bell. Great fun! 16 for supper. Going home tomorrow for a rest!!

Busy day getting ready for the Birthday Girl's party. A friend took her out for the day so we were able to decorate etc in peace!! Lovely evening seeing again old friends. Weather beautiful but with night frost.

Not bad journey down apart from having to divert from the M5which was shut following an accident. Lovely to see everyone and be part of the preparations. Very warm and sunny. 20c. Becca doing fantastic job with cakes and shortbread as well as lasagne for tonight. People keep arriving. All very exciting!!
