Well here we are in Tupelo on the Elvis trail and what a superb trail it is with many stories from people who knew the man himself. First stop was his birthplace where we toured the museum, the house where he was born and the chapel where he fell in love with gospel music. It was his cousin who told us stories of his first few years in Tupelo. We then went to Johnnies where we sat in the Elvis Booth and yes, I sat in the same spot as a young Elvis did many years ago before going to Tupelo Hardware Store where his Mum bought him his first guitar. People are so nice and tell many a story of those long ago days.
