Hiya

So finally we are in Quito. Have to say it was a bit of an epic journey, now let me see, I think Gemma and I left norfolk at about 1230 on the fourth, we finally made it to a hostel (not the one we expected since they don´t take check ins after 11pm) at what would be in uk time 9am on the 6th!! What a nightmare, and I have to confess that I get really quite travel sick so three flights (well technically 4 because the first time we flew to quito the weather was too bad to land so we hadda go back and sit on the plane for a couple of hours before trying again (our poor popping ears!!))

The point of the picture is meant to show that we are currently suffering the effects of altitude, getting puffed out doing nothing and our nail beds have gone blue, hopefully we´ll adjust to that quite quickly but I am from norfolk which is like the flattest place ever so I could be a while! (my ears pop on marlow hill after all)

Anyway we´re just chillaxing right now as its raining - check in soon

oh also, tell judy keeley that i only cried when gemma dropped me at the airport, and she started it anyway and also that Judy is a bit sick to keep asking!! sicko!
