Arrived safely in Byron yesterday afternoon. The hostel is fab... spacious, clean, 5 minute walk to town and 50 metres to the beach. The town is quaint and cozy and the beach is gorgeous. I was told I would fall in love with Byron and I have already. Mel and I took a walk along the beach into town last night and then went for pizza at a restaurant looking over the beach.

Today we spent sunbathing and went for a swim in the sea. The water was the clearest I have ever seen. Mel and I are both slightly burnt, ooops, but it was worth it.

Tomorrow, Mel and I are going to take a walk up to the lighthouse... the most Easterly point in Oz where you can see wild dolphins and turtles.... Does it get any better than this? In the afternoon Katie, Fiona and Mel arrive and then Friday night we are off into town for our wild night out in Byron wahoo. Really looking forward to seeing the girls again and it will be great for Mel to meet them too in the lead up to Christmas. Hopefully we will have a big group of us on Bondi together on Xmas day. Only 9 days away ahhh scary... on a beach in 30 degree heat... weird but I love it!
