We headed off early this morning on the coach to the Vietnamese war tunnels. These were tunnels the north Vietnamese dug during the war to hide from and attack the Americans and South Vietnamese. We were very lucky as our tour guide translated for the Americans during the war, so we got good insider knowledge. We started this morning with a tasty omelette baguette for breakfast mmm, before we boarded the coach and set of for the long drive to Ho Chi Minh City. Half way through the trip we went on a ferry and got off the coach and went to the top deck, for the view.
