We got up early this morning and checked out of our guesthouse and headed for the pier. We got on the ferry heading for Koh Phangan and enjoyed watching Tom and Jerry kids on the way. The plan was to go to Chauk bay then on to Freedom Beach and to avoid Shark Bay as apparently that's where the sharks hang out. We then walked along to master divers and were told the sea was too rough for kayaks so we rented some snorkelling gear for a couple of days instead.
