Wellington

Wellington was awesome! We had four days here in the windiest city known to mad, but I really enjoyed it! The first night we all went out with the people from the bus. We had horse racing games in the bar which involved drinking quite a lot, before heading to a Welsh Bar, which we completely took over. There must have been 30 of us sat in the bar, all singing Coldplay clocks along to the piano, played by Phil, then we moved on to various versions of Oasis songs and many others, all singing at the top of our voices, it was so much fun! After the Welsh bar we went to see some live music in one of the other bars and danced for the rest of the night! Our bus was really good, but most of them were leaving the next day, which is always sad!

The next day in Wellington was spent in a coffee shop nursing our hangovers and keeping away from the wind. Once we were feeling better we went on the LOTR tour and got to see a few locations from the film (the forest where the hobbits hide being one of many) and we also went to the Weta Caves where the LOTR magic began, and also saw Orlando Blooms old house and Peter Jacksons current House. It was a really cool day, topped off by a visit to the Te Papa museum which was very interesting!
